A Weekend Away

 I was feeling a bit frazzled and really needed to shut down for a few days.

Luckily this weekend was fall break and we had the opportunity to use a friend's house at the beach.

 We left Friday morning. b brought his kayak and I brought my bike. Angel stayed behind to take care of the animals.

There was a lot of sun and sand and walking along the beach.

There was time for reading and watching rented movies and snuggling.

It was quiet and calm and everything we needed.
